Little Leonardo's School of Fine Art for the Young Artist invites children ages 3 through 14 to attend classes. The classes are very small, giving the children an opportunity to participate and learn in a safe, friendly environment. Young children are prepared for kindergarten as they learn visual discrimination, observation, and listening skills in a meaningful setting. Life skills are also taught as the children learn how to handle problems, share, wait their turn, and think through situations needing a solution. Art is the only subject that encourages children to create their own answers and fosters creative thinking. Every other subject has a prescribed answer for children to follow.

"My daughter has been an Artist at Work with Mrs. Waltz at Little Leonardo's for two years. She has created masterpieces in all mediums and enjoys attending class. I love that Mrs. Waltz encourages the students to learn about each artists in the series in depth and rewards each child for their participation. My family always looks forward to the end of term Art Shows where all students' art is exhibited and we are further introduced to the artists by the students and their presentations."
